Arrayjet has appointed BioMicro Systems of Salt Lake City, Utah as its exclusive distribution partner in the United States
Arrayjet's chief executive, Graham Miller, said: "It makes very good sense for our two companies to work together as we address the same application areas with highly complementary technologies.
"On top of that we share the common goals of the highest standards of customer support and in providing increasingly comprehensive packages which meet the demands of both research and, potentially, clinical applications of microarrays".
BioMicro Systems have been very successful with its Maui hybridisation system.
Michael Feldman, CEO of the company, believes that the combination of its Maui system with the new small arrayer from Arrayjet will form a very attractive package for potential users.
"BioMicro Systems endeavors to be an innovative company offering integrated solutions to meet customer needs.
"The Arrayjet inkjet microarray spotters offer customers in the USA the latest technology that affords the most flexibility in printing arrays, providing excellent performance, throughput and value.
"This combination of technologies gives researchers the tools to customise and optimise array design, hybridisation performance, and data quality."
