William Laboratories announces Safe-T-Vue 6, newest member of Safe-T-Vue family of nonreversible temperature indicators for safe transport and storage of blood and other temperature sensitive items
Developed to help assure compliance with 21 CFR 600.15(a) as recently interpreted by the FDA, Safe-T-Vue 6 is quick and easy to use, colour-coded by temperature, and provides an indication temperature of 6C.
It is cost effective and economical, activated upon release from the refrigerator's controlled temperature environment, and designed to support quality control requirements and improve quality assurance.
Also available in 10C (Safe-T-Vue 10) and 8C (Safe-T-Vue 6) indication temperatures, all Safe-T-Vue indicators are conveniently packaged in boxes of 50 and as cases of 200 (four boxes of 50 indicators each).
Lot number and expiration date appear on boxes of 50 and all shipments contain QA documentation.
Suited for use by blood banks and transfusion services, Safe-T-Vue 6 is a FDA-registered direct contact temperature indicator that changes from white to red when the compliant temperature of blood or other temperature-sensitive items has been reached or exceeded.
As long as the indicator remains white, the integrity of blood or temperature-sensitive items is in compliance with the prescribed temperature.
