The new Krystal UV quartz bottomed microplate range from Porvair Sciences has been designed to provide consistently low background and excellent photometric performance down to 220nm, for high throughput determination of nucleic acids and proteins.
Precision engineered and assembled using biocompatible adhesive in 96- and 384-well formats, Krystal UV quartz bottomed microplates are described as the perfect choice for high throughput determinations of nucleic acid and / or proteins concentrations at 260/280 nm.
Manufactured from black ultra pure grade polystyrene the plates exhibit very low auto fluorescence and are resistant to solvents including alcohols, DMSO and PBS.
Krystal UV quartz bottomed plates precisely conform to SBS/Ansi standards.
Their high degree of planar flatness makes them ideal for use with automated plate reading and liquid handling systems.
