Charles Austen Pumps launches its laboratory pump catalogue with the RD5C for dosing and transfer applications and the B85T EX corrosion resistant pump with Atex approval for explosive environments
The RD5C uses proven patented rotary diaphragm technology developed several years ago for continuous service on demanding industrial applications.
Offering extreme dry lift capability and the ability to self prime the RD5C proves ideal for applications including liquid drug dispense and liquid transfer.
Two models are available with up to 10l/min flow, 20m head and 8m dry lift and optional food grade materials can be specified for use in food testing and processing.
The RD5C features a tough alloy casing with unique t-slot rail for mounting of accessories and an optional reverse flow switch to enable the user to change the direction of the liquid being pumped.
The B85T EX is based on the popular B85T and still offers the same fully corrosion resistant construction but with an Atex approved motor for use in environments where there is a risk of explosion.
The B85T EX offers a free flow of 20l/min and vacuum down to 60mbar and features a lightweight design and carry handle for ease of transferring the pump between different work stations.
With all the wetted parts constructed from PTFE the B85T offers full chemical resistance to virtually all gases and vapours.
Applications include testing in petrochemical plants or in fertiliser production laboratories
