The DDM 2911 density meter is suitable for many applications demanding the critical levels of accuracy needed by modern petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical and beverage industries
Spectronic Analytical Instruments [Spectronic] specialises in the supply and maintenance of an extensive portfolio of laboratory instruments.
The company is the sole UK distributor for Rudolph Research Analytical, an American manufacturer of scientific instruments, and has recently extended its product range to include the new Rudolph DDM2911 automatic density meter.
It is, for example, able to withstand harsh and heavy use environments, measure wetted materials compatible with the most aggressive chemicals, is 21CFR11 compliant, features electronic signature and data storage and uses an apparent density function for proper filling volume monitoring.
This new instrument also offers users a number of flexible management methods.
Factory installed programs allow the immediate selection of the correct method for the most common applications, but setting up custom methods to match specific laboratory processes is as simple as filling out a few screens.
"The DDM 2911 an extremely user-friendly instrument," explains Spectronic's Mark Brereton.
"It combines the simplicity of touch screen measurement with Windows flexibility.
"It also has a powerful internal memory, giving it a vast capacity for storing measurement data, and with an unlimited number of customised calibration adjustments and calibration verifications, is one of the most versatile density meters on the market.
"One of its major benefits is the VideoView Bubble Detection, which displays any difficult-to-see air bubbles in the sample using 10x magnification on-screen viewing - an impressive time-saving feature".
Mark Brereton goes on to say: "This is an exciting new instrument, which will bring the latest densitometry to laboratories in many industry sectors, and we are proud to have it in our product portfolio".
