Veriteq Instruments is now shipping its new OPC server software, which will allow users of most monitoring systems to integrate Veriteq's highly accurate data loggers into their existing system
By adding Veriteq loggers, almost any other system can benefit from the Veriteq logger's unique and industry-leading immunity to data loss.
Because Veriteq's data loggers are equipped with on-board redundant memory and a ten-year battery, infrastructure failures like power outages or network interruptions have no impact on continuous data collection.
Not only is each logger is equipped with independent recording and memory back-up, but they connect seamlessly to Ethernet or wifi within any existing infrastructure and require no proprietary wiring.
Veriteq's applications manager Jon Aldous says: "Instead of using simple sensors wired back to the centralised system, the OPC software integrates our standalone data loggers, which eliminates the risk of data loss inherent to most monitoring systems.
"Wherever our loggers are used, the data will be gap-free.
"The OPC software also goes one step further in providing a simplified back up system.
"The OPC server software, combined with our data loggers, effectively eliminates the need to run two entire systems - a primary plus a back-up.
"Now users can easily connect our loggers to their current system, making their critical data virtually invulnerable to power or network downtime."
