Spectronic Analytical Instruments is exhibiting at WWEM 2008 to be held at the Telford International Centre, UK, on 5-6 November 2008
As the sole UK distributor for international manufacturers of scientific instruments including Man-Tech and Lumex, Spectronic's stand will be showcasing instruments from each of these companies alongside new spectrophotometers from British manufacturer Camspec.
New to Spectronic's portfolio is Man-Tech's PC-BOD, designed to automate the five and seven day BOD analysis method approved for use in many countries around the world.
Its powerful software can be configured to protocols required by any laboratory, but is simple enough for daily operational use by technicians.
The Man-Tech innovation of Autorun Buttons has been fully utilised in the PC-BOD software.
Alongside it will be a Lumex mercury analyser, a portable, multi-functional atomic absorption spectrometer.
Unlike others, it does not require gold amalgam pre-concentration and regeneration steps, so enabling the user to conduct real time monitoring and detection of a mercury vapour.
