Porvair Sciences has announced it will display its range of microplate products for drug discovery laboratories at the SBS/ELRIG 2008 meeting in Bournemouth.
The company will showcase its Triseal high throughput sealing station, which provides busy screening or compound management laboratories with a compact solution for automated microplate sealing and stacking.
Also on display is Porvair's robot-compatible Ultravap sample concentrator, designed for laboratories looking to remove the traditional drug discovery 'bottleneck' of solvent evaporation in 96- or 384-well microplates prior to analysis or reconstitution in buffer.
Porvair said the Ultravap concentrator can increase sample throughput via its evaporator head technology and manifold design, which directly injects heated nitrogen into each well of the microplate simultaneously.
Other drug discovery focused products on display include the company's range of deep-well, assay, p3 protein precipitation and low volume microplates as well as its range of Krystal UV quartz-bottomed plates.
