Infratec Infrared Sensor and Measurement Technology has invited research teams to participate in a contest to find the most challenging and creative use of a high-performance thermographic camera.
The winning team will receive one year's exclusive use of an Infratec thermographic camera to conduct their project.
The prize, a Variocam high-resolution research 780, represents a new generation of high-performance thermographic cameras based on uncooled microbolometer FPA detectors.
It includes the following features: high geometrical resolution of up to 1,280 x 960 pixels to measure smallest details; thermal resolution of 0.05K (C) to detect smallest temperature differences; transfer of radiometric infrared images at fast frame rate of up to 60Hz to the computer via Firewire; software suit IRBIS 3 professional for effective and efficient data analysis.
