QM Solutions has announced the addition of QMS MS300 microcentrifuge and the QMS waterbath to its range of laboratory equipment.
The QMS MS300 microcentrifuge was designed to provide the majority of requested features in an affordable and reliable microcentrifuge.
The company said it gives constant performance even when used in a cold room.
Its ventilation cycle is self-cooling and when used with any of its 45 degree angle rotors will maintain a temperature that will not rise more than 4C.
The AQSMS300 has a digital display of speed (1,000-14,000rpm) and time (0.5-99 minutes) with simple single touch keypads, which make setting parameters quick and easy.
The speed can be displayed in rpm or g-force (RCF) at the touch of a button.
The MS300 can be used for timed or momentary spins, generating up to 16.000 xg (14,000rpm) and is covered by QM Solutions's standard warranty.
The angled rotors (all autoclaveable) accept all types of 1.5mL to 2.2mL tubes, including 0.2 PCR strips, six standard 1.5mL tubes or the EZ-8 strips of 8 x 1.5mL tubes.
A clear snap on/off cover is also supplied.
QMS's unstirred water baths are manufactured using a stainless steel tank, mounted into a durable, mild steel painted case.
The temperature controller can maintain the set point temperature within 0.25 at 60C.
A temperature range of ambient to 120C is possible.
A stainless steel removable shelf is supplied as standard, as is a flat stainless steel lid.
