Spectronic Analytical Instruments is continuing its expansion programme with the appointment of Simon Claessens as regional sales manager for the north west and midlands.
Claessens has worked in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry for 10 years across a range of companies including Applied Biosystems, Sanofi Aventis and Teva.
His knowledge of quality control, analytical and formulation chemistry within the sphere of laboratories has brought additional expertise to the Spectronic sales team.
'Simon's hands-on laboratory experience and understanding of an end-user's requirements is invaluable in helping the client to make the right choice,' said Spectronic's Mark Brereton.
