QM Solutions has brought out the SNOL 8,2/1100 general purpose laboratory muffle furnace for materials testing, heat treatment, ceramic and stoneware samples firing.
The furnace can be equipped with a side opening door (L) or an up and over (LZ) door.
The furnace can be used in laboratories, educational institutions, ceramic studios and industrial laboratories.
It features: a maximum temperature of 1100C; a high thermal efficiency vacuumed ceramic fibre chamber; heating elements embedded in fibre on all four sides; high quality thermoinsulation materials; a microprocessor temperature controller; an over temperature controller; a door safety interlock switch; a ceramic bottom plate; low thermal mass construction, which speeds-up heating; a hermetic door seal; low power consumption; good stability and uniformity that meets Heath and Safety Executive directives; and a one-year warranty (two years on controllers).
Optional extras include connection to PC and an audible over temperature alarm.
It has chamber dimensions of 200 x 300 x 133mm, outside dimensions of 440 x 530 x 500mm, 1.8kW of power and weighs 33kg.
