Didier Chassard MD has joined contract research organisation Biotrial as associate medical and scientific director.
Chassard will work closely with Alain Patat MD, vice-president of medical and scientific affairs at Biotrial.
Dr Patat said: 'His 20 years of experience in early compound development will provide a significant contribution to the services we offer in Phase I, proof-of-concept studies and many other areas.' Dr Chassard comes to Biotrial from SGS Paris Clinical Unit (formerly Aster-Cephac).
He has expertise in women's health, immunology, vaccinations and endocrinology.
Dr Chassard also has a master's degree in pharmacology and computer science, statistics and epidemiology.
He will be based in the Rueil Malmaison, Paris, Biotrial Phase I unit.
