Thermo Fisher Scientific will present workshops highlighting technologies for cell biology as part of the Exhibitor Showcase at the Annual Meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB).
Five workshops will present the expertise of Thermo Fisher Scientific around key mammalian cell-based research technologies as featured in the company's Stem Cell Excellence programme.
Technical experts will cover the latest tools and techniques available for cell-based research including thermo-responsive growth surfaces; tools for stem cell maintenance and differentiation; best practices for RNAI-based experimentation; kits and services for biomarker analysis; and techniques for cellular proteomics.
The Thermo Fisher Scientific workshops will run from 14-16 December at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco.
The workshop schedule is as follows: A New Thermoresponsive Surface for Growing Adherent Cells will be presented by Dr Masayki Yamato, 14 Dec, 11:30-12:30; Stem Cell Solutions - Media, Sera and Serum Supplements to Support Human Somatic and Murine Embryonic Stem Cells will be presented by Julie Morris, 14 Dec, 12:30-13:30; Access to a New World of RNAI-based Discovery will be presented by Emily Anderson, 15 Dec, 07:00-09:00; Thermo Scientific Searchlight Array Kits and Services for Biomarker Analysis will be presented by Amy Willson, 16 Dec, 09:15-10:15; Products for Cellular Proteomics will be presented by Barbara Kaboord, 16 Dec, 10:15-11:15.
