The PC-BOD automates the five- and seven-day BOD analytical methods that are approved for use in many countries around the world as a recognised way of identifying levels of bacteria present in water.
The autosampler, which is an integrated component of the PC-BOD, can hold 24 30ml samples, and the system's software can be configured to the protocols specified by any laboratory, but remain simple enough for daily operational use by technicians.
While the new system is ideally suited to laboratories that have a constant throughput of samples to analyse, those which have only a limited number on a more occasional basis can still benefit from Man-Tech's technology.
The standalone version (PC-BOD SA) is supplied with the complete suite of analysis software, ensuring data integrity and the correctness of the results.
