DXS has announced the appointment of Jeff Devlin as chief operating officer.
Prior to DXS, Devlin held the positions of executive vice-president and executive committee member of Shire Pharmaceuticals.
Before this, he was a partner in Ernst and Young's life science division.
The appointment is one of a number planned for 2009, continuing DXS' expansion which has seen the company's workforce more than double in size in the last 12 months.
