Labtech International offers the C-Chip, a disposable plastic haemocytometer used for manual cell counting.
The C-Chip consists of two surface-patterned, enclosed chambers with two ports for sample injection, and has the same optical properties as glass used for manual cell counting.
As the C-Chip is plastic, it is disposable, decreasing the user's exposure to infectious materials.
It allows continuous sample containment that also offers protection to the user.
Precise design and no cover slips mean that the C-Chip offers increased accuracy and reproducibility.
The catalogue numbers for the two types that Labtech currently has on offer are DHC-N01, DHC-F01, DHC-B01 or DHC-B02.
Prices are as follows (bearing in mind that there are 50 C-Chips per box and two tests per C-Chip): 0-5 boxes GBP45 per box, cost per sample GBP0.45; 6-10 boxes GBP42.75 per box, cost per sample GBP0.43; and 11 and above boxes GBP40.50 per box, cost per sample GBP0.41.
