Spectro Analytical has introduced Smart Analyzer Vision 4.0, software for Spectro Arcos and Spectro Genesis ICP-OES instruments.
New functions include import, sorting, filter and configuration options, allowing for increased sample throughput and efficient automation of the analyses.
For example, the entire recorded spectrum is now automatically stored for every measurement in a database, giving laboratories post-processing options.
Questions arising long after the analysis has taken place can be answered without re-measuring samples.
Automating sample runs is also easy: laboratory personnel enter the samples to be run into a sequence list - manually, using a copy function, or with the automatic import function - and then place the samples into the auto-sampler tray.
The Spectro ICP analyses the samples in the programmed order.
Event-controlled sample logic ensures a trouble-free run.
Samples can be automatically diluted as necessary.
An optimisation function reduces sample-transition times, saving time and money.
The Smart Analyzer Vision 4.0 software is now standard in all new Spectro Arcos and Spectro Genesis ICP-OES instruments.
It can be pre-installed to run on a Windows XP or Windows Vista based PC, according to customer requirements.
Smart Analyzer Vision's graphical interface is based on the familiar design of the Office group of products and uses a central navigation bar with six job-oriented views.
