Labware, a provider of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and instrument interfacing software, has introduced three more template solutions.
These are claimed to be able to reduce the time and cost associated with the implementation of a LIMS and can streamline validation activities for enterprises subject to third-party regulation.
Template solutions for the forensics, public health and biorepository domains have been added to Labware's range, which also includes solutions for pharmaceutical, environmental, chemical/petrochemical process and contract laboratories.
Labware's template solutions are pre-configured LIMS that feature a collection of industry- or domain-specific features and workflows.
They are said to represent a best-practice approach to implementing commonly encountered business processes and functional requirements within the Labware LIMS product.
Use of a template solution is intended to enable customers to adopt preconfigured functionality with minimal required effort in order to automate the range of activities and processes that are common within their industry or domain.
Template solutions are documented and include system reference guides, configuration descriptions and IQ/OQ validation scripts.
