Heason Technology has released the OFXY range of open frame X-Y tables, which incorporate Nanomotion's high-resolution ceramic motors and Renishaw's super-compact Tonic encoders.
The OFXY range provides a large working through-aperture with sub-micron resolution positioning, better than one-micron repeatability and 200mm/sec scanning performance.
The three new models feature X and Y travel of 50, 100 and 200mm in a three-piece design with dual precision cross-roller bearings for maximum load and high stiffness.
The large through-aperture provides a clear working area of up to 50 x 50mm on the largest stage when extended to its furthermost X-Y travel position.
The OFXY range is aimed at vision, optical and beamline system applications in metrology, quality inspection and NDT.
It features better speed and precision than lead-screw driven stages.
The standard range includes integrated end-of travel limit and datum switches.
It is supplied fully tested, complete with cable and connectors.
The OFXY range can be customised to suit specific interfacing and fixture requirements for OEMs and systems integrators.
The non-magnetic ceramic motor and non-contact encoder system is suited to high vacuum applications.
