Alpha Innotech has launched analysis software that enhances the workflow and performance of the Alphaspec in-tip microvolume UV/Vis spectrophotometer.
The Alphaspec's non-contact detection method allows a sample as small as 2ul to be measured while in a pipette tip, with complete recovery of the sample for further downstream analysis.
Enhancements delivered by the software include auto-blanking, the ability to set up and store linear interpolation graphs based on known standards for Bradford, Lowry, or other common assays, and overlay of graphs to enable the comparison of samples.
One-click printing of all data and graphs, and the ability to export the data into Excel or ASCII format are also available.
For microarray customers, the software calculates dye incorporation ratios of labelled oligonucleotides.
