6 January 2010 - Malvern Instruments has announced that it will not exhibit at Pittcon 2010, believing that the slow economy will contribute to fewer of its customers visiting the exhibition.
The company said its specialists will still contribute to the 2010 event, delivering six oral and five poster sessions and supporting the Pittcon organisers' efforts to strengthen the technical programme. Topics will include: laser diffraction particle sizing; particle imaging of powder samples; nanoparticle verification standards; high concentration zeta potential measurement; measuring protein interactions; and pharmaceutical separations.
Malvern added that the company is planning to return as an exhibitor in 2011. 17 December 2009 - Malvern Instruments' film heralding the 2008 launch of its Kinexus rheometer has won BtoB magazine's award for 'Most creative online campaign'.
