The high-speed and G-force capability of the 842Stat enables faster cardiac profiling and produces platelet-poor plasma with a two-minute spin, reducing processing times for coagulation applications.
The company said it is ideal for use in laboratories, point of care, GP surgeries, anticoagulant clinics and 'out-of-hours' testing.
The 842Stat is supplied with a fixed-angle rotor capable of spinning 12 x 5ml, 1.5-2ml and 0.5-1ml tubes, and reaches a maximum speed of 7,000rev/min/5700xg.
The centrifuge also has variable speed, enabling the production of platelet-rich plasma and platelet poor plasma for appropriate applications.
