Ionicon is setting a benchmark for on-line VOC monitoring/real-time mass spectrometry by introducing a ppqv-range (parts per quadrillion) detection limit.
With the PTR+SRI-MS featuring H3O+ as well as O2+ and NO+ to chemically ionise a sample, Ionicon has taken this technology one step further.
With this line of Ionicon PTR-MS instruments the sensitivity has been enhanced for all three precursor ions yielding a detection limit in the several 100 ppqv-range that has been recorded using an Ionicon high-sensitivity PTR-Quad-MS instrument with SRI capabilities.
