Lloyd Instruments will display a range of materials-testing machines and equipment for the medical and medical packaging industries at Medtec China 2009, Shanghai, 8-10 September.
This will include the LFPlus low force single-column materials-testing instrument with Nexygenplus control and analysis software; the Davenport MFI-10 melt flow indexer; the Chatillon TCD225 Series digital force tester and LTCM-100 Series motorised tester; and a series of force gauges.
Basic force measurements can be made with the LCTM-100 in applications where the main interest is in peak load and extension, while the LFPlus (1kN (225lbf)) materials-testing machine guarantees the highest level of performance and capability for production testing, quality control, laboratory testing, research and education.
The versatile LFPlus can test for tensile strength, compression, flexural strength, co-efficient of friction, tear strength, peel strength, adhesion, shear strength, ductility, insertion/extraction forces of needles and many other parameters to determine the mechanical properties and performance of medical devices, components and medical packaging.
Its Nexygenplus control and analysis software incorporates powerful security and audit trails to help companies meet FDA 21 CFR Part 11 regulations.
The MFI-10 is an intelligent, modular system for the determination of the melt flow properties of a polymer.
It can also be used under PC control with Nexygenplus software.
Its accuracy, repeatability and reproducibility of results ensure batch-to-batch consistency in production and quality-control environments.
