The Atlas syringe pump from Syrris is a volumetric dosing and/or sampling system consisting of two syringes and up to six port valves.
The Atlas system has the ability to provide two independent refilling flows, one continuous flow, reaction sampling, advanced pH control, as well as temperature dependent dosing.
Each syringe can be used to aspirate from, or dispense to the pump, and the two syringes can be configured in a variety of different ways.
With a flow rate range of 0.5ul/min to 10ml/min, this compact system is said to have excellent chemical compatibility as the wetted parts are manufactured in glass, PTFE and PCTFE.
Automated reagent addition provides users with the option to dispense simply by volume or flow rate over a given period of time, or to create advanced flow profiles, for example, 10 reagents to one reactor, one reagent to 10 reactors, five reagents to two reactors, or one continuous flow.
As a result, the Atlas syringe pump is suitable for a wide range of automated chemistry applications.
The syringe pump can be operated as a stand-alone system, or can be connected to a Reactor Master (for automation of jacketed reactor systems), an Atlas Base, or controlled by a PC.
It can also be connected to Atlas pH or temperature sensors for control based on these parameters.
Control of pumping based on other parameters such as stirrer speed or turbidity is also possible when operated using the PC software.
