Calibration Dynamics has launched the CTI5000, a reference instrument designed for testing and calibrating non-contact temperature measurement instruments.
The CTI5000 is ruggedly designed, according to the company, and has compact dimensions.
It is ideal for on-site calibration and also in laboratory environments.
The CTI5000 operates at a range from 50C up to 500C and is equipped with a bore behind the black body for insertion of a reference sensor for quality purposes.
The large black body diameter (57mm) accommodates for almost any type of infra-red thermometer no matter what optic has been fitted.
Emissivity is fixed at 0.95 and temperature can be controlled in steps of 0.1C.
