Starna Scientific has introduced an updated customer-feedback system to assist compliance with ISO 17025:2005 guidelines.
The system is built around a customer feedback/lifetime guarantee registration form.
Starna is an ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34 accredited reference material producer, meaning its certified reference materials (CRMs) provide an accepted, convenient and recognised path to UV-visible-NIR instrument system qualification.
Full documentation on measurement, handling and storage is provided with each set of CRMs.
According to ILAC, the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, only producers complying with both ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 are now recognised as accredited suppliers of certified reference materials.
Ukas, the UK accreditation body, currently lists only a handful of accredited reference material producers in the UK; and in the sphere of UV-visible-NIR qualification, Starna stands alone as the only accredited producer.
As a result of the work undertaken to achieve this level of accreditation, Starna can offer the end-user a lifetime guarantee on Starna CRMs, providing they: have been used and stored correctly; have not been thermally, optically or physically abused; and have been re-certified every two years.
