Cole-Parmer offers the Paramount ductless fume hood enclosures for shared-use laboratories and multi-room applications to protect users where outside ventilation cannot be accomplished.
Paramount enclosures are self-contained ductless fume hoods that use filters to rid the laboratory of unsafe concentrations of organic solvents, formaldehyde, acid gases, ammonia or radioisotopes.
Unlike traditional fume hoods, they require no ducting so they can be moved from lab to lab.
The enclosures are capable of using both carbon and 99.99 efficient Hepa filters for removing gaseous and particulate contaminants.
A choice of seven different filters can be fitted to the fume hood: ammonia-amine, acid-sulphur, organic vapour, formaldehyde-formalin, radioisotope, mixed bed and Hepa.
The fume hood enclosures feature epoxy coated aluminium surfaces, ergonomic angled sash, integrated digital display, tempered safety glass, LED alert and audible alarm, a non-sparking energy efficient motor and optional modules such as Hepa filtration, mobile stand and epoxy work surfaces.
Customers can contact Cole-Parmer for a chemical usage assessment form to receive a technical analysis of the right product for an application.
Cole-Parmer offers a wide variety of fume hoods and enclosures for every laboratory application including general-purpose hoods, vented enclosures, ducted fume hoods, biosafety and PCR enclosures and extractor systems.
