Cole-Parmer Ltd announced that Jenway®, a leading UK manufacturer of analytical laboratory instruments, has launched its new 74 series spectrophotometers, designed to be easy to use, and are ideal for applications in education, routine quality control and analysis in the food industry.
The range consists of two models: the 7410 and the 7415. Model 7410 benefits from a tungsten halogen lamp for measurements in the visible spectrum from 320 to 1000nm. Model 7415 uses a press to read xenon lamp to extend measurements into the UV spectrum, down to 198nm. Both models have a 5nm spectral bandwidth and are covered by a 3-year warranty.
Succeeding the existing 73 range series, the 74 range has been designed with improved connectivity. The easy access USB ports on the front of the instrument can be used for both data transfer and printer connectivity.
In addition, both models feature a high definition 7” colour touchscreen, 10GB internal memory and multi-language options including English, French, German, Spanish and Italian. Pushing the limits of connectivity with the new 74 range, Jenway also introduces for the first time ‘CPLive’, the free Cole-Parmer web and mobile app that enables scientists to transfer and store data, protocols and results all in one safe place. One administrator login can grant rights to other users to access the data, wherever they are located.
“The new 74 series range continues to strengthen Jenway’s product line. Together, the 7410 and the 7415 will provide our customers improved and intuitive devices to service their wide range of applications,” said Renaud Foret, Jenway Product Sales Manager, Cole-Parmer Ltd.
