BD Biosciences marks the launch of the BD Kaleidoscope reagent and dye expansion programme with the initial release of nearly 200 new fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies for flow cytometry.
'Multicolour flow cytometry allows researchers who are conducting complex experiments to analyse multiple parameters simultaneously, enhancing discovery and problem solving by providing them with a wealth of information in a single experiment,' said Jay Glasscock, president, cell analysis, BD Biosciences.
The BD Kaleidoscope portfolio offers these new fluorochrome-conjugated antibodies in a full range of colours, making it easier to construct multicolour cocktails to obtain fluorescently separated cell populations more efficiently.
Researchers can choose from a wide range of sizes, such as the new 50 test/50mg size to reduce the cost of initial panel design and testing.
The BD reagents, like others in the BD Biosciences portfolio, are optimised for use with BD flow cytometry systems.
Information about the BD Kaleidoscope reagent and dye expansion programme can be found on the company's website.
The website also includes the BD Cell Pathways tool, which allows researchers to explore pathways, find relevant information and optimise experiments.
