Cole-Parmer has launched the Oakton Waterproof EcoTestr Pocket pH Meter in its 2009/10 general catalogue.
The pocket pH meter is suitable for quick pH checks in hydroponic gardening, aquaculture, agriculture, pools, food and beverage manufacturing, simple lab work, water/wastewater and other environmental applications.
The meter features: +/- 0.1 per cent accuracy across full pH range; automatic temperature compensation; auto-buffer recognition and auto-calibration functions; hold function for temporarily freezing reading; recessed single-junction electrode to protect against breakage; and three-point quick calibration with auto-buffer recognition and automatic temperature compensation to ensure quick, accurate readings under changing conditions.
The ergonomic orientation of the pocket pH meter's LCD display allows easy reading and there is waterproof and dustproof housing for use in dirty and damp field conditions, built-in pocket clip for easy access, auto-off function to prolong battery life and hold function to lock a measured value.
