Donley Technology has announced that the seventh edition of the MSDS Software Report is now available.
The 1,037-page report contains profiles of 66 software packages for authoring, managing and distributing material safety data sheets.
It also contains 49 tables comparing system features and describes the latest advances in MSDS software.
The report is said to help users compare such features as data entry options, MSDS formats, search and retrieval options, chemical inventory tracking, regulatory compliance support, and reporting.
It also describes how the various products can be customised to meet user needs.
The report covers hardware/software requirements, price, and more.
The US OSHA has proposed a new regulation, which, if passed, will adopt the international Globally Harmonised System (GHS) format for safety data sheets (SDS).
The new edition of the MSDS Software Report has information on which products will help users manage and author MSDS in the GHS format.
It also contains a new section on Reach compliance.
