Cole-Parmer has launched its Picoliter Syringe Pump for high-accuracy, low flow delivery.
The pump has infusion and withdrawal capabilities with accurate deliveries of picolitre, nanolitre, microlitre and millilitre flow.
Designed for ultra-low flows, the pump can deliver flow rates as low as 1.3pl/min with accuracy in excess of +/-0.5 per cent and reproducibility of +/-0.1 per cent.
The Picoliter syringe pump can be operated in rate mode for continuous delivery or volume mode to accurately dispense a set amount of media.
Delivery of smooth and constant flow over the complete flow range is achieved using a microstepping pump system, which accepts microlitre syringes ranging from 0.5ul to 10ml.
Control of the syringe pump can be via the keypad, footswitch or by a computer via the RS-232 communication port.
Typical applications include microcellular injections, micro-reaction delivery and micro flow for FIA or capillary LC.
