Cole-Parmer has announced that its Meiji compound microscopes come with a limited lifetime warranty.
These professional-grade compound microscopes offer precision and accuracy for a variety of applications, including biological and laboratory research, according to the company.
The Meiji compound microscopes feature a fully rotatable, 30-degree inclined binocular head, synchronised interpupillary adjustment from 53mm to 72mm and diopter adjustment for each ocular tube.
The compound microscope offers users easy access to the specimen and stage via the ergonomic quintuple reverse-angle nosepiece.
The variable-intensity Koehler illuminator lets the operator adjust light intensity based on sample characteristics.
These models also feature coaxial coarse- and fine-focus controls; coarse focus has tension adjustment to accommodate for each individual user.
The eyepieces give a 20mm-wide field view of the sample.
All models also feature paired, compensating DIN wide-field 10x eyepieces.
The objectives are available either as semi-plan or achromatic with 4x, 10x, 40x and 100x magnification.
The semi-plan objectives on models 48401-20, 48401-25 and 48401-30 flatten out the field of view for the user to give sharper images.
Models 48401-00, 48401-05, 48401-10 and 48401-15 feature four colour-coded DIN parfocal, parcentered and achromatic objectives.
