Sedna Scientific has been appointed UK distributors for Paris-based JRI Maxant, suppliers of temperature monitoring and transport systems.
Sedna will offer the Spy RF wireless monitoring system, which compliments Sedna's Xiltrix wired system.
CO2, O2, relative humidity, pressure and temperature are some of the available parameters that can be monitored using the system.
The Spy RF recorders transmit measurements to a server-based PC at regular intervals for comprehensive data management services.
This is performed by radio frequency in the 868MHz band (compatible with medical, scientific and industrial environments).
The data can then be viewed from any computer locally (via a networked PC) or remotely from anywhere with an active internet connection.
Numerous alarms can be configured within the software so that users are warned if problems occur.
These include SMS, email, auto-diallers plus audible and visual alarms.
