Veriteq Instruments has released an online demo of the latest iteration of its monitoring, alarming and reporting system for temperature and humidity in controlled environments - Viewlinc.
Designed for monitoring and alarming temperature, humidity and other critical parameters in quality controlled and FDA-regulated environments, Viewlinc can provide continuous, gap-free data for records that must comply with stringent guidelines in the pharmaceutical and biotechnical sectors.
The five-minute demo gives an overview of Viewlinc's basic functions, including the ability to generate and deliver reports automatically.
Other features include: browser-based interface and site-licensing, real-time view of multiple environments and trends from remote locations, flexible alarm management via text/email to PC, mobile phone, pagers and more.
Viewlinc ensures against lost data with three discrete recording methods: independent memory in each data logger, back up to the host PC and automatic file transfers.
Because the system installs on the user's existing network - Ethernet, Power over Ethernet or Wi-Fi - the cost of outsourced IT services (required with most networked monitoring systems) is eliminated.
Viewlinc can also be installed on a virtual server.
'The demo shows how Viewlinc reduces the risks of product damage or a failed audit,' said Ken Appel, Veriteq's vice-president of marketing.
'The system's scalability and audit-ready reporting helps our customers to manage critical environments and field internal and external audits,' he added.
