Arkray has announced a distribution agreement with Scil Animal Care Company for the Spotchem EZ chemistry analyser.
Scil focuses on providing veterinary diagnostic equipment and will re-introduce the Spotchem EZ to the North American veterinary industry.
The Spotchem EZ bench-top analyser enables on-the-spot testing at veterinary clinics.
It can run a panel, a single test, or a combination, so that vets do not carry out unnecessary tests.
The system accepts whole blood or serum samples and has a built-in centrifuge.
Results are available within eight to 15 minutes to facilitate quick diagnosis and treatment.
