Glen Mills has posted a video on Youtube showing operation of the large-scale ZRP Bioreactor System.
The video shows assembly, masses of cell and tissue growths, and variations of this ZRP design.
The bioreactor system can grow adherent cells in a sterile, natural environment for more than 12.5 months.
Using the Sponceram ceramic scaffold or other customer-specific materials, cell densities beyond 10^10, and fully 3-D extracellular matrixes have been reported using this rotating bed cell culture method.
This system includes bioreactor chambers of 50, 500 or 5,000ml size, breeder enclosure, controller and Sponceram scaffolds plus factory training.
The 50ml reactor chambers are disposable.
The system can be customised for particular applications.
Demonstration runs and contract work are also offered.
