Cranfield University is offering bursaries to early-career scientists to allow them to attend its first health conference - 'Repairing the Body'.
The bursaries are available to students, post doctorates, research assistants, research scientists and new lecturers on a first-come-first-serve basis.
The conference, on regenerative medicine, will feature a world-class line-up of science professionals and academic speakers, headed by Prof Robert Winston.
The event will take place on 22-23 April and will explore a range of topics such as possible treatment for viral infections, mending the spinal cord, and how research is translated from the laboratory bench into the clinic.
Translating medical research from the bench to the hospital bedside brings huge technological, ethical and regulatory hurdles that must be overcome.
The conference will discuss this alongside the gap between research and industry.
Prof Winston, professor of science and society and emeritus professor of fertility, Imperial College, London, will aim to challenge the generational medicine community.
