Camlab has released a 132-page plastics catalogue for 2010 that comprises the company's own plastic products as well as a variety of other new and established solutions for laboratory applications.
Highlights of the full-colour catalogue include Tubee's Micryo thermal-transfer labels and Blackline plastics for light-sensitive reagent storage.
Both product ranges are suitable for a variety of research laboratory applications used by universities, government facilities, pharmaceutical/biotechnology organisations and diagnostic kit manufacturers.
The new Blackline black tubes and boxes provide storage solutions that eradicate the need for tin foil; they are suitable for storing and protecting light-sensitive samples and reagents such as expensive molecular biology reagents.
Tubee's Micryo and solvent-resistant thermal-transfer labels are suitable for the labelling of samples stored and used in challenging environments, such as the identification of cryogenic vials and boxes in liquid-nitrogen storage systems.
Available in a variety of sizes, the super-thin pressure-sensitive labels make use of a patented adhesive formula that means they do not need to be overwrapped and that ensures they will remain in place in liquid nitrogen.
The thermal-transfer labels are resistant to most commonly used laboratory solvents.
Camlab offers low- and high-throughput labelling solutions for both laboratory and production environments.
Label products include Micryo rolls for hand labelling and Micryo sheets for printing on inkjet and laser printers, as well as thermal-transfer labels, printers and ribbons.
A core range of labels is available in standard sizes but custom versions can also be supplied upon request.
