Porvair Sciences has announced that a new pdf download brochure is now available for its Miniseal Plus thermal microplate sealer.
The Miniseal Plus is a low-cost, semi-automatic thermal microplate sealer that combines enhanced comfort and safety in use with repeatability in sealing any ANSI/SBS standard footprint plates up to 48mm high and most currently available PCR plates.
Designed for laboratories needing to seal small to medium numbers (10-50) of plates each day, the Miniseal Plus is compact and simple to use and install, according to the company.
Unlike bigger automated sealers, the Miniseal Plus does not require a compressed-air supply to operate.
Instead, all operations are electronically controlled through the splash-proof keypad, meaning the Miniseal Plus can be installed up to temperature and sealing plates within minutes of unpacking.
The Miniseal Plus, measuring 310mm in height, 275mm in depth and 181mm in width, will fit just about anywhere on a laboratory bench or inside a fume hood if required.
