The Alphaimager EP, an entry-level gel documentation and analysis system from Alpha Innotech, is now available from GRI.
The low-cost digital imaging system is equipped with a high-resolution 12-bit camera with real-time imaging, motorised lens controls and the Alphaview image capture and analysis software.
The system encloses a 1.4-megapixel scientific-grade camera to generate a wide dynamic range with good image quality and details and gives more than four times the resolution of typical 8-bit gel documentation systems.
The Alphaimager EP is housed in the Multiimage I cabinet.
This small cabinet features a slide-out ultraviolet (UV) Transilluminator with a safety switch to prevent accidental UV exposure.
The cabinet also features a three-position filter wheel for flexibility in fluorescent applications.
