4 August 2010 - Malvern has concluded an agreement with Sysmex to transfer responsibility for sales and support to Malvern Instruments Japan.
From 1 October 2010 an expanded organisation will provide sales, technical and applications support across the entire range of Malvern's particle-characterisation systems.
21 April 2010 - Malvern Instruments has received a Queen's Award in the Innovation category for its Zetasizer Nano range of particle characterisation systems.
12 April 2010 - Malvern Instruments has acquired certain assets of Swedish rheology company Reologica Instruments, which went into administration on 23 March 2010.
11 March 2010 - Malvern Instruments and Particle Measuring Systems have completed the transfer of sales and support for the latter company's products in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
