Huber has expanded its Unistat range of circulators with the Unistat 905w model.
With 6kW of heating power, cooling powers from 4.5kW at 0C and 0.7kW at -80C and a temperature range of -90C to +250C, the 905w offers a tailored cryogenic solution for lower-volume reactors.
With a temperature range from -120C to +425C, the Unistats are designed for demanding temperature control applications where reliability, predictability and tight control are a necessity in a constantly changing reaction mass.
Critical process temperatures can be maintained through mixing, ingredient addition and exothermic and endothermic reactions.
This level of temperature control can lead to increased yields, lower resource consumption and lower running costs, making the Unistats a more efficient and profitable alternative to other temperature control methods.
Designed to give high flow rates, the new Unistat 905w features a variable-speed pump with soft start.
This enables safe and fast ramp rates, resulting in the tighter control of process temperature while protecting the reactor and maximising process efficiencies.
The pressure of the thermal fluid is controlled and monitored by an adaptive controller.
A hydraulically sealed circulation thermostat, the Unistat 905w allows fluids to be used safely above flash points without the fear of ignition and associated greasy residue that comes from oil vapours.
As the fluids are not exposed to the atmosphere while being heated and cooled, they do not degrade.
Consistent with the entire Unistat range, the Unistat 905w features the Unistat pilot.
This touch-screen controller incorporates accessible menus that display all the key parameters, including process temperature, jacket temperature, fluid pressure and safety settings.
The Unistat pilot allows users to view dynamic data in a real-time graphic format.
All units are CFC and H-CFC free and have the option for 100 per cent natural refrigerants.
Each model in the Unistat range is manufactured from stainless steel.
