Jeio Tech, under the Lab Companion brand, has introduced the SKC series of high-capacity, high-speed shakers.
Using a newly engineered direct-drive mechanism, the Lab Companion SKC shakers can cope with heavy loads, even at high speeds.
A selection of models is available based on platform size and stroke diameter.
Programmable motion control, light-emitting-diode displays, unbalanced load sensors and a self-protecting cut-off function make these shakers versatile and safe, according to the company.
The SKC series offers speeds up to 500rev/min.
With a maximum orbit of 2.8in (70mm) and clamps that accommodate up to 6-litre flasks, the shakers are engineered to work hard every day and are covered by a two-year warranty.
Various accessory options allow users to work with a range of flask sizes, tubes and bottles.
Spring wire racks and new dual-tiered platforms are also available for added flexibility and capacity requirements.
A new accessory - the Sticky Pad - eliminates flask clamps altogether.
