Esco has launched the Labculture IVF workstation, which is designed for use in fertility laboratories for research work in the fields of human and animal reproduction.
According to the company, a controlled work environment is of high priority owing to the complexity of the process.
This includes hygienic conditions to minimise microbial contamination, a warmed work surface for the sustenance of biological matter and provisions for the use of microscopes.
The enhanced Labculture IVF workstation features: lower noise and vibration levels for improved microscope stability; improved temperature uniformity; enhanced ergonomics including a taller work zone height; and a new integrated control interface.
'Together with Esco's new range of CO2 incubators and an upcoming range of Class II biological safety cabinets, Esco expects to offer a complete range of controlled environment solutions for IVF,' said XQ Lin, Esco vice-president.
