GE Healthcare is running a conference series devoted to high-throughput process development (HTPD).
The first international conference will be held in Krakow, Poland from 4-7 October 2010.
Leading experts will discuss the challenges and benefits of employing HTPD techniques in the development of production processes for biological products.
The conference opens with a plenary lecture 'High-Throughput Techniques in a Small-Molecules World: Lessons Learned'.
Programme sessions will cover designing experiments and data mining to exploit HTPD; scale-up and scale-down studies; elimination of analytical challenges; and the future of HTPD.
Sessions will also showcase industrial case studies that describe the use of high-throughput methods in process-development activities.
The conference will provide an excellent opportunity to discuss and influence the future of HTPD within the industry.
Scientists that are interested in contributing can submit oral and poster abstracts by 1 May 2010.
Research can be related to all aspects of high-throughput process development, including new formats, new automation principles, further miniaturisation, theoretical and practical considerations and analytical methods.
