CLC Bio has announced that the prices of its DNA, RNA and protein-sequence-analysis software packages are reduced by 50 per cent for academic customers.
The four workbenches affected by this reduction are CLC Main Workbench, CLC DNA Workbench, CLC RNA Workbench and CLC Protein Workbench.
As of today, academic institutions can purchase a CLC Main Workbench licence for USD985 (GBP657) (previously USD1,975), or a CLC DNA Workbench, CLC RNA Workbench or CLC Protein Workbench licence for USD495 (previously USD990).
