Wagtech has introduced the Metalyser HM1000 portable heavy metals monitor to quickly and accurately detect heavy metals in water to low parts-per-billion (ppb) levels.
The product, launched to mark World Environment Day, collects the sample using the integrated sonde head and analyses to low ppb in less than two minutes.
The instrument is portable and is in itself a miniature computer performing multiple analyses and storing up to 1,000 datasets ready for later download to a PC.
A graphical display of the analysis can be seen on-screen to show the user the results.
Wagtech said the Metalyser HM1000 has been designed with the end user in mind, with step-by-step instructions given.
The company said laboratory results provide historical data that gives the assessor no chance to respond immediately to a threat, making the Metalyser a superior solution to heavy metal monitoring needs.
